Persetujuan Lingkungan UKL-UPL/AMDAL

Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL) is a study of significant environmental impacts for high-risk businesses/activities as the basis for licensing, while Environmental Management and Monitoring Efforts (UKL-UPL) are environmental management and monitoring efforts for businesses/activities that are not required to have an AMDAL but still have the potential to cause impacts. Both are regulated by Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management and Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management. The technicalities for licensing applications are regulated by Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number 4 of 2021.

Requirements Persetujuan Lingkungan

AMDAL approval is one of two basic permits that must be met. However, Environmental Approval in the form of an AMDAL is a continuation of the previous Basic Permit, namely the KKPR/PKKPRL. The document requirements for an application for Environmental Approval in the form of an AMDAL are :

Identitas pemrakarsa (akta pendirian/NIB, penanggung jawab);
Uraian rencana usaha/kegiatan (jenis, skala, lokasi, dan proses);
Kesesuaian Kegiatan Pemanfaatan Ruang (KKPR);
Dokumen KA-ANDAL, ANDAL, RKL, dan RPL;
Peta lokasi dan batas wilayah studi;
Persetujuan teknis (air limbah, emisi, limbah B3, dan lainnya bila ada);
Bukti pelibatan dan pengumuman kepada masyarakat;
Surat pernyataan kebenaran data.

As for Environmental Approval in the form of UKL-UPL as follows :

Identitas pemrakarsa (NIB, penanggung jawab);
Uraian rencana usaha/kegiatan;
Kesesuaian tata ruang/KKPR;
Formulir UKL-UPL yang memuat upaya pengelolaan dan pemantauan lingkungan;
Peta lokasi kegiatan;
Surat pernyataan kebenaran data.
